These products are handmade and hand painted by very talented and creative artists in the city of Kütahya in western Turkey where over 600 years of tradition continues to this day. These original pieces are new and unused. They were painted with lead-free paint so they are food safe. The surface of these items is textured with raised painting which is called the ‘ relief ‘ style.
Back of the trivet is foam which keeps the trivet on the tabletop without slipping away, also avoids scratching.
It is not only a decoration but also used as trivet – hot plate or spoon holder.
