The term «suzani» («needle», «sewing by a needle») origins from Tadjik language «suzan» – “needle”. Suzani, suzane, is the decoratively embroidered panel either on a white or color cotton fabric or silk, widespread among the people of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and used as an element of interior decoration.
